Dry needling

Dry needling is a technique used in physical therapy to treat pain and muscle dysfunction. It involves inserting thin, solid needles into specific points in the muscles known as trigger points.

How it Works:

  • Trigger points are hyperirritable areas in muscles that can cause pain, stiffness, and reduced range of motion.

  • Dry needling stimulates these trigger points, leading to a local twitch response and release of tension.

  • This process can help improve pain, muscle function, and range of motion.

Benefits:

  • Effective for treating musculoskeletal pain, including back, neck, shoulder, and hip pain

  • Can improve range of motion and flexibility

  • May reduce muscle spasms and tightness

  • Promotes healing and reduces inflammation

Who Can Benefit:

  • Individuals with chronic or acute musculoskeletal pain

  • Athletes with muscle injuries

  • People with trigger point sensitivity

  • Patients with conditions such as fibromyalgia or tension headaches

Dry Needling Assessment: $100

Dry Needling Treatment: $75

coming soon - Assisted stretch

Overview

Assisted stretching is a hands-on technique where a trained practitioner guides you through stretches, using their hands to help you move into a deeper range of motion that may be difficult to achieve on your own. It can help improve flexibility, realign the body, and reduce muscle tension and scar tissue by stabilizing joints and applying resistance, though it should never be painful.
